| 2016 Priddy Folk FestivalThe weather was far better than forecast and ended being up just about perfect. The music was amazing and definitely one of the best line-ups yet. The atmosphere seemed even more relaxing than usual and large numbers of people picnicked on the Green throughout the weekend.
We hope these images rekindle wonderful memories of the festival weekend. Priddy Folk Festival encourages use of our images on social media and artistes websites. |

| 2014 Priddy Folk FestivalA great line-up and wonderful weather - perfect! After two Priddy Folk Festival's with extreme weather, this year was really pleasant. Lots of sunshine with just a bit of light rain on Saturday evening. The atmosphere started off relaxed and stayed relaxed throughout the weekend.
The official snappers have vastly different photographic styles and put together as a set their images look great! - Duncan Simey - http://www.wild-landscapes.co.uk/ - Alan Cole - http://www.folkfestivalphotos.co.uk/ - Paul Hawley

You can use them without asking as long as the watermark is left intact Alternatively, contact the festival to request clean images and larger sizes, we'll check with the relevant photographer and if they are happy then we will send them to you.
P.S. Duncan's top tip on gallery navigation. If your browser window is too tall, then the blasted next image button moves about - it's really annoying, sorry. If this happens, reduce the height of your window a bit so the vertical scrollbar always has something to scroll down to. It'll make more sense if you try it - thanks! |

 | 2013 Priddy Folk FestivalThere's no doubt that this year was the hottest ever Priddy Folk Festival and the first time that seeking shade has been a necessity. But what a festival !!!
Every year we seem to be saying that the latest festival has had the best line-up ever, but many people have told me just that about 2013. Your chief snappers personal highlights include More Like Trees, Ushti Baba, the Saturday night Ceilidh with Balshazzar's Feast + Phil Bassindale, Celtech; all topped off by a capacity audience bouncing around with their arms in the air to the astonishing Treacherous Orchestra. I've been told I missed many other memorable performances including Faustus, Flats and Sharps, The Firepit Collective, De Fuego and too many others for me to recall from memory. Sorry but I can't be everywhere, Priddy is getting too big for that! And on deliciously surreal note - I watched Priddy Primary School re-enact the hurdles being destroyed by fire through the medium of dance. Fantastic!
Right - the photos.... The official snappers have vastly different photographic styles and put together as a set their images look great! - Duncan Simey - http://www.wild-landscapes.co.uk/ - Alan Cole - http://www.folkfestivalphotos.co.uk/ - Steph French - http://www.stephfrench.com/ - Marc le Galle - http://www.marclegalle.co.uk/ Many thanks to Paul Hawley, Liz Turley and Phil Myers for contributing some fantastic images - and we are still expecting more photos from Matt Haller!

| 2012 Priddy Folk FestivalThis year Priddy Folk Festival celebrated its 21st birthday, and this was without doubt the wettest Priddy Folk Festival ever! Almost the entire UK was under Severe Weather Warnings from the Met Office and on Friday evening Somerset hit the dizzy heights of a Met Office Red Alert. All of us who were there can be rightly proud that we endured the weather - AND STILL HAD A GREAT TIME!!!! The people who come to Priddy have always been what makes this festival special, and this year they proved they are the best!
The images have now been loaded from our four festival photographers - Duncan Simey, Alan Cole, Carole Knowles and Paul Hawley. Still need to caption the images so you know who the bands are; but the images are up here! If you have photos you would like to contribute to this gallery, please get in touch with Duncan via duncan@folkfestivalphotos.co.uk
The festival encourages these images to be used. Artistes are welcome to use them on their websites. Everyone else is welcome to use them on Facebook. There are just a couple of caveats. 1) The photographer and festival get credited (e.g. leave the watermark intact). 2) Non-Commercial usage
For non-watermarked images, high resolution files and commercial usage, please email duncan@folkfestivalphotos.co.uk |
