Kris Drever, world renowned for his work with LAU, Drever McCusker Woomble, and through his own critically acclaimed solo recordings, can now be seen performing in an exciting new collaboration with Éamonn Coyne.
Kris Drever is an Orcadian multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and interpreter of traditional songs. He has travelled the world with the highly acclaimed trio Lau and played with countless greats of the folk music world including Grammy award winner Tim O’Brien, John McCusker (Mark Knopfler band), Kate Rusby, Roseanne Cash and with popular music stars such as Eddi Reader and Roddy Woomble.

In 2007, Kris and Éamonn Coyne recorded their duo CD Honk Toot Suite, a record now widely recognised as a cult classic.
The Wall Street Journal called them “…a can’t-miss combination”, while Songlines wrote “…mutually attuned musicianship of the first order…a breath of fresh air.”
Éamonn Coyne has performed and recorded with a vast array of people including Siobhán and Tommy Peoples, The Wrigley Sisters, Eileen Ivers of Riverdance, Sharon Shannon, Grammy winner’s Alison Brown and Béla Fleck, and Russell’s House. Éamonn specialises in traditional Irish music, but is enthusiastic about performing in a range of styles including American old-time. Éamonn currently plays with the Scottish international band Salsa Celtica with whom he has recorded three CD’s, and he also plays with new supergroup Treacherous Orchestra.
