We have three main venues at Priddy festival, two big marquees on the village green and the village hall next to the church. Swildons is the main stage and Eastwater is our smaller stage – these are both named for two of the main cave systems that run below Priddy. The Village Hall is the venue for ceilidh dancing on Saturday night and the late night dances on both nights.
If you would like to find out more about being booked for our main venues please email us at Sorry - to help prevent spam you need Javascript enabled in order to see Email addresses .
We also have the Club Tent which is next to the Festival Office and is one of our ‘free’ festival events, along with the Children’s festival, the Dance festival and all our workshops.
The Club Tent is run like a folk club night with booked spotlight acts through the day and Open Mic sessions on Friday and Saturday nights. The Club Tent is one of the many free parts of the festival and we hope it’s a place for up and coming performers to show their talents. If you’d like to find out more about being booked for a slot in the Spotlights concerts please email Sorry - to help prevent spam you need Javascript enabled in order to see Email addresses .
The Open Mic sessions are run by local folk clubs and are booked on the day. As with all Open Mic sessions these are booked on a first come basis – you can sign up by coming to the Club Tent at 7pm before the session starts and try and sign up with the organisers.
Our free dance festival runs throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday - you can see and learn a huge variety of different dances and dance styles from around the UK and the world. Most performances and workshops are in the Eastwater marquee, but if the sun is shining, dancing may break out all over the green.
