Last Year
Judging by the feedback last year was clearly a great success. Thank you to everyone who made time to complete the feedback forms - we had a bumper "crop" with the overall view being that, as festivals go, Priddy was something special in terms of atmosphere, size and style.
Planning is well advanced for what we hope will be the best Priddy Folk Festival yet, based largely on the same format though we are looking to extend the "open stage" in the Traders' Field.
Reviews of Priddy
If you aren't familiar with the festival, or want to read what someone else wrote about it, we have a blog entry sent in by Mike Plumbley from the Isle of Wight who visited the festival last year. We hope you enjoy reading MikesStory.
We also have a review by Mike Elliott for BBC Somerset which can be read at http://www.bbc.co.uk/somerset/content/articles/2005/07/13/priddy_folk_fayre_2005_review_feature.shtml.

Tickets
We are pleased to say we are holding the ticket prices as per last year. You can see the various options for ordering tickets at FestivalTickets.
Priddy Charity Trust
The festival is a charity run by volunteers, either for their love of Folk music, their love of Priddy - or both, with the proceeds going to help good causes via the Priddy Charity Trust . This makes a huge difference to the community and we would like to say a big thank you on behalf of all of us here at Priddy for making this possible.
Craft Stallholders, Traders and Caterers
Space is going fast, but there are still opportunities available. Please look at PitchApplication.
If you would like to be part of this years festival please don't delay!
Stewards
Volunteer stewards are an integral part of the festival; the event could not possibly be organised without their assistance. The deal is free tickets and camping in exchange for your time.
If you think you might like to help by stewarding at Priddy, please see FestivalStewards. Thanks.
Supporting the Festival
Every bit of assistance the festival gets means we can offset costs and contribute more to the Village Charity. Every contribution helps, whether it be by advertising in the programme or offering subsidised labour and materials. It also gives the festival a real sense of purpose over and above providing great entertainment.
To find out more, or make offers of assistance, please contact us by emailing <priddyinfo AT priddyfolk DOT org>. Thank you.
The New Website
For those familiar with the Festival, you will notice this site has been completely revamped; not just a whole new set of pages, but a whole new web technology designed to provide you with better information more quickly. We hope you find it helpful. However, it is still very much Work In Progress at the moment so your patience is appreciated.
And for the technies among you who are interested in how this website works, please have a look at AboutTheWebsite.
