The English Fiddle Ensemble brings together four of England’s finest traditional fiddlers, Bryony Griffith, Jim Boyle, Ross Grant and Rosie Butler-Hall. With a repertoire of unusual and rarely played regional tunes, drawn largely from 18thand 19th century manuscripts, alongside more familiar session favourites, they bring joyous harmonies and striking rhythms to traditional English tunes.
With several major festival appearances under their belts, including opening for Cambridge Folk Festival, and joining John Tams on stage at Sidmouth Folk Week, their debut album ‘Engrained’ was released to great applaud in 2025.
