Unkempt is a three-part folk band performing tunes from all parts of the British Isles, Europe and America plus the occasional song.
The band comprises experienced musicians Katie Kennedy (flute, whistle and fiddle), Michael Greene (button accordion) and Pete Thompson (vocals, guitar, fiddle and mandolin) who have known each other and played together informally for several years. Katie and Michael are well known for their appearances at sessions and ceilidhs in the Bristol area, and are at Priddy again as The Nightjars, whilst Pete has been playing in bands including Magenta and Badgerset for over 50 years.
