Alice Florence & The Vines are a young Somerset-based folk band. Performing both song and instrumental music, the band explore creative and imaginative ways to perform original works as well as arranging music from inspiring artists.

Much of their music is inspired by contemporary folk music as well as literature; their songs often involve extracts of poetry or are influenced by the themes and ideas of a novel which harks to the tradition of folk music as a mode of storytelling.

Alice, Alex, Ford, Kate and Henry have been friends for years which has kept their mutual love of performing folk music a joy to work on and listen to.
