Home More Like Trees

More Like Trees

More Like Trees are a 3-piece acoustic act, drawing on a range of musical influences to create ‘Strum & Bass’ acoustic music combining traditional techniques to create fresh twists on modern genres. Incorporating elements of Drum n’ Bass, Classical, Hip Hop, Rock, Dance, Flamenco and Folk: they refuse to play by the rules, consistently surprising and delighting fans of all genres.
More Like Trees have recently released an acoustic DnB album with Tali (World Champion DnB MC) and are working on acoustic Dubstep with Reeps One (UK Beatbox Champ). Their love of unusual collaborations is reflected in their regular sessions as part of The Local Posse, an improvised set with an ever-changing line up of underground international talent. Members of the Local Posse & regular collaborators include Beat box & Loop Pedal extraordinaire, Joe Driscoll, BBC Slam Poetry Champion, Dizraeli, World No1 Female Beatboxer, Bellatrix, E4 Traffic Warden viral star, Klumzy Tung & Jazz Hip Hop impressario, Lazy Habits.
