Lots of Fun and a Sticky End at the Kids Fest

This year we have another great programme planned for the Children’s Festival at Priddy 2018.

We have the ever popular West African drums and Hop, Skip and Sing for little ones plus some of our old favourites back after a couple of years break.

The excellent Bristol-based Brave Bold Drama are back this year with a new show called ‘Sticky Ends’. Sticky Ends is a collection of original cautionary tales and songs about what might happen if you do really really bad stuff, like Eat Too Much Ice Cream or Play Too Much Minecraft.

Our favourite Uke playing storyteller is back with Story Soup.  A magical mix of traditional tales, live music and folk songs brought to life by acclaimed storyteller Martin Maudsley and multi-instrumental musician Fiona Barrow (above). Audiences get to sample the menu in this interactive and dynamic performance inspired by the fun and flavours of food…

We also have Andy Hawkings back with his partner Tom Veck who are Rocktopus, the ultimate rockband for kids and families, they are ready to rock out with YOU!

Join the band, learn the moves, and write the band’s next song in this truly interactive experience which will have everyone singing and dancing along.

We have the lovely Emily Janes at the Festival for the first time bringing music for 5-10 year-olds and a Morris workshop run by National Youth Folk Troupe England (NYFTE) which was a great hit last year.

All are welcome, so come and join us at the Kids tent for any of the sessions!
