We had a lovely day down at Halsway Manor for their Hothouse Festival on Saturday 4th April. Rachael and I were interviewed about Priddy Folk Festival on 10 Radio by old friends Jon Dyer and James Findlay, and we got to see the amazing performances of the students who have been there all week. Our festival joined with the Wells Blue School and sponsored four places on the course. I chatted with Niamh and Jack and they definitely had a great time, and I was able to see how their performances had come along in leaps and bounds since last year. Just fantastic!
What was the Blue School Folk Club band “Thirsty Jenny” also performed. Four of them are now at University, but they have still managed to develop their performance to do a stunning set in the Bar. Which had people cheering and calling for more. Luckily this year they had even managed to prepare an encore!
All in all a brilliant festival led by our friend Will Lang. Make sure you don’t miss it next year!
