Saturday & Sunday
The Nightjars (Katie and Michael) are delighted to be at Priddy again to meet
the musicians of tomorrow. Expect a guided session of classic and modern tunes
from around the British Isles and beyond, with some surprises thrown in.
Bring an instrument to the session if you have one, and also your favourite tune to play or request.
Young and youth musicians are especially welcome, but Priddy kiddies of all ages welcome too – and there will be a souvenir sticker for all attendees!
Katie can mostly be found cycling around Bristol with her flute, fiddle, and clogs.
She likes all types of music, but particularly enjoys playing by ear, and plays for
ceilidhs, Morris dancers, and at folk festivals.
Michael used to play a respectable instrument, but he then discovered a furtive pleasure in borrowing other people’s accordions. Nowadays, he is often found calling and playing for ceilidhs, usually while drinking tea.
